This is an example from my latest Vfx composition for a school project.
for this short film I have to write a story having the idea of a big monster after I have to write the script and because this it was a group project every members need to complete equal task for this project another colleges did the story board and other the some of the shot and visual effects but over here I'm showing just some of the creation done by my self.
In order to arrange the monster in the shots I had to use a 3d Camera Track in Nuke and export as a Fbx file to able to use the tracking information in a 3d software in this case Maya. The monster is free downloaded from Mixamo and importated in Maya after everything were solved in Maya has exported using Arnold and imported again in Nuke for compositing because in this case the monster has to be behind buildings and masking is the solution for this moving shots. In Nuke Planar tracking I had to use to track what I have to cut and stay in overlapping the original shot and the shot exported from Maya. After all the elaborately work of masking and applying the necessary editing in Nuke everything exported again and imported in Premiere Pro for putting together the story with audio and final touch to the visuals.
